Hallmarking

Hallmarking is a centuries old tradition of testing and certifying precious metals. The marks usually comprise of a purity mark, Assay Office mark (leopard's head for London), metal type, letter indicating year, and a maker's mark (mine is FW).
Unless otherwise stated, all my jewellery is made from sterling silver, which is 92.5% silver. It is hallmarked according to UK law. Some items below the 7.78g weight limit may be sold unhallmarked.
