Indian paint stone, also known as Navajo blanket stone, is a type of picture jasper from Death Valley in California. Picture jaspers are thus named because the banding in the stone can look like a landscape, and in this one I see birds flying into a sunset. Indian paint stone is no longer mined, because the land is protected, and is highly collectible.
Pendant is 22mm x 37mm and comes with a 45cm silver curb chain.
